This was a lot harder than I expected it to be.When I first set out to do a Softer Soles $25 pedicure giveaway, I was mostly doing it because I wanted to help spread the word about my friend Tommy's fabulous new nail salon. I didn't really think about how much something like a pedicure might mean to the people that entered -- especially those whose nails have come to resemble talons.
As it turns out, I'm not the only girl in LA who's been neglecting her oddly-shaped, callused feet. It was reassuring in a way (sometimes I feel like I'm the least glamorous person in the city), but also sad. Every girl should take the time to give herself a little tender loving care. Unfortunately, due to budgetary issues and crazy schedules, pedicures have clearly become an uncommon indulgence for many of us.
While I really wish $300 could drop into my lap so I could buy everyone who entered my giveway a $25 pedicure (clearly, you all really really deserve one!), there's only one winner today. And her name is Cheryl. :)
